How to Make Your Essential Oil Candle?

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ oz (3 Tbsp) Soy Wax
  • 35-40 drops of Essential Oils*
  • ½ oz (1 Tbsp) Coconut Oil (solid)
  • ½ oz (1 Tbsp) Beeswax
  • 1 Wick
  • 2-3 oz jar or similar container

Procedure

  1. Melt the solids (soy wax, coconut oil and beeswax) in a container.
  2. Once the mixture is completely melted remove it from the heat.
  3. Pour in the essential oils and bled then well for around 30 to 40 seconds.
  4. Next, insert the candle wick into the melted wax and let it stabilize there. This will make sure that the wick will adhere to the bottom of the container.
  5. Hold the wick upright, and pour the melted wax into the container.
  6. Keep it in the stable position for some time and allow it to cool down completely. Trim the wick to ¼” height above the wax candle.
  7. Your DIY essential oil candle is ready. You can now burn it and use it to avail the aromatic benefits.
