How to Determine Your Face Shape?

Stand Infront of a Mirror

Trace the Outline of Your Face
Take a lipstick, a chalk, a bar of soap or any other non-permanent marker. Now position yourself in front of the mirror. Trace the outline of your face on the mirror without leaning towards it, carefully. Start the marking from the bottom of your chin, then go to the edges of your face on the side past of your cheekbones, followed by the curve of your hairline. Complete the process by going down on the other side of the face and end it at your chin. Do not include your ears in this process, just the edges.

Oblong Faces have broad but the even forehead, cheekbones and jaws. The outline of the face should roughly resemble that of a tall rectangle whose corners are round.
2. Round Face Shape

3. Square Face Shape
If you have a broad forehead, strong cheekbones and angular jaw and the outline you have drawn is not tall but wide at all points, then the shape of your face is Square.
4. Oval Face Shape
If your forehead is slightly broad, with a tapering jawline and narrower cheekbones, then you have an Oval Shape Face.
5. Heart Shaped Face
A broad forehead, strong cheekbones and a small chin are the characteristics of a Heart Shaped Face.
6. Triangular Shaped Face
The outline which you have drawn resembles a broad jaw but a small forehead then you have a Triangular Shaped Face.
7. Diamond Shaped Face
You may get confused between a Round, Oval and a Diamond shape for there is a close similarity among these types. A Diamond Shaped Face has wider cheekbones than the chin and forehead which are both narrow.
