  • Salt
  • 1 tablespoon thyme

  • 2 bay leaves
  • 8-10 peppercorns

Recipe –
  1. Take a large pot and add ½ litre of water and add carrots, celery, spring onions and onion. Place the whole chicken and let this mixture come to a boil.
  2. Wait for the chicken to infuse all its flavour along with the spices and the vegetables and let this stock simmer for 30 minutes.
  3. After the basic stock is ready take the whole chicken out and strain the stock to get rid of all the vegetables.
  4. Now you get a clear flavoured chicken broth. Get this chicken stock to a boil and add thyme and parsley to it. In the end add the whole wheat noodles to the stock. They will soften with the heat of the broth.
  5. Add the shredded chicken to your soup bowl.

  • 1 teaspoon Thyme
  • 1 cup Whole Wheat Macaroni

Recipe –
  1. Take a large pot and add olive oil. Toss in the Bacon strips and get them golden and crispy. Add onion and garlic cook until translucent.
  2. Further add carrots, celery and Potato and cook for another 5 minutes. Add the Vegetable/chicken stock with beans, bay leaf, tomato paste, zucchini, herbs and mushrooms and simmer for 20 minutes.
  3. Add pepper and stir once in a while.
  4. Add pasta and season well. Cook for another 7-10 minutes.

  • A can of tomatoes
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
